Museum Prinsenhof Delft shows how Delft and Delft people have contributed to the development of the Netherlands with creativity and ingenuity. The museum devotes ample attention to three iconic themes to which Delft owes its national significance and international fame: William of Orange, Delft Blue and Delft Masters. Visitors are taken through the rich history and art and culture of Delft, which make the city such an inspiring and interesting place to this day. A number of objects shine in our showcases. The museum is housed in a former monastery and temporarily served as the court of William of Orange in the 16th century. The building nowadays belongs to the Top 100 of the National Service for Monument Care.
